Storeperson (Pick Packer)
Job Description:
● Picking and packing of orders ready for store delivery – assisting with inventory control and ensuring numbers are correct
● Comprehensive understanding of all applicable standard operating processes/procedures applied in the operation of the Distribution Centre (DC)
● Continuously seeing what can be done better by recommending improvements as necessary to facilitate improved work practices
● Aware of departmental pick targets and progress to achieve them. At minimum, consistently achieve pick rate levels and continuously work to surpass the set target
● Deal with faulty goods/damages as per standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
● Operate DC machinery in a safe manner with the correct licenses and experience to do so
● Champions Health and Safety and understands how to reports incidents
